I hear you! If Craig's game to replace our cones off I might go to that, but nothing really interests me much.

Sorry about the missus Pete - hope she is recovering now.

I missed you - you would have been in your element at this game! Much better than Oddball's effort up north (with zero thought about how a game would actually play out) - Anthony had put a lot of thought into this one. Poor bloke, he has so much shit dropped on him in his life but he still bounces back as if nothing had happened.

Not much to add to what I've posted publicly really - I enjoyed the day!

Thanks, shes' fine now. Having read the after game reports, it sounds like I would have had some fun. Oh well, I'll remind the missus that she deprived me of some fun when I feel the moment is right.

I've been tidying my garage today (mainly trying to make proper room for this bloody enormous 160lb tent!) and, when sorting my German kit out, noted that I'm missing an MP40 pouch and 3 midcaps. I don't suppose you picked them up after Grafton, did you Dave? I recall I was a bit disorganised at the end!

Just checked my German boxes and it isn't in there - will check other boxes when next in the garage.

I'm a bit pissed off with AGS. I was talking to Andy at the last Flying Lead and the one before, about CiA doing Rattenkrieg at UCAP and, lo and behold, AGS are doing the very same game at the very same site! I think "the mayor" will have to have an accident at the next Flying Lead!

Well, I did say months ago that we should go back to UCAP. TBH, we've been sat on our hands doing nothing for a couple of months!

It's nice just to play and not organise mind!

I can't make this one, but will likely go to Luga River Line.

Ah balls. Just realised that I might be even be able to do the Luga either. I had planned to go to Wales to meet Kerstin after her study school week at Aberystwyth. I just hadn't put it in the diary yet.

Today's game. Dreadful. I've given up early.

Terrible site - too small and no cover for manoeuvre. Awful game plan - I've pretty much done nothing all day and it relies too much on props and pointless objectives. Rampant cheating from some of the Germans.

I just told Lardy that it's the worst case of cheating I've ever seen. This guy was fire his MP40 with one hand whilst healing two comrades, all the while flinching as my BBs bounced off him. What a cunt.

It's another nail in the coffin for the way the game's gone IMHO.

Sorry to hear that you wasted your money. I suspected it would be crap, looking at the player list.

Well, if your post about Luga isn't "constructive feedback" Steve, I don't what is!

What? No posts since September last year?

Anyhoo, is it me, or, is there rebellion in the air and, a real feeling that things are threatening to fragment even further? I refer to all of the recent threads about the albany game, as well as bigkie and pvtjohnnys threads. Personally, I think they're a bunch of fucking ingrates, with no sense of the trailblazers who made the whole "scene" that they're fracturing possible in the first bloody place!

Johnny's heart is in the right place, he just has a muddled idea of how to improve things. What's worse is that some organisers don't join in conversations - all the AGS lot and all of Craig's lot, and they are the moaning minnies! Kieren is OK, on our side generally. Tim has an even-handed and mature approach.

Anyhoo, I have called Johnny's bluff and he has to put his money where his mouth in now. I think I know where it will end up - apathy and feeble efforts, you can't organise by committee, but I could be wrong! We have always said you need the balls, vision and energy to present a game to players. And they either go for it or they don't.

I don't expect anyone to be grateful for the legacy, most have no idea anyway. Meh, let 'em get on with it. Apart from snotty and spoilt under 18s :giggle:

You should be green - Johnny switched default groups when he added peeps to 'Immersive' so I have had to change 'em all back. :slap:

heh, you planted the seeds, it's all your fault.

I saw your name in plain old black recently as well Steve. Why green? I'm still "blue"! :giggle:

I can't even post on the "splitter" section anyway. Not that it bothers me!

It is a special place for people to make very important decisions about what organisers are allowed to do and when, so clearly not for the likes of you and me...
